But this time into our own house! Effective April 6, 2008 we live in Herford, in the suburb called Herringhausen. It is only 20 mins away from Bielefeld where we lived for 3 years, a nice housing area close to my hubby's office and his parents' house. Important places like supermarkets, kindergarten & school, playground, doctors, pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, bus stops, etc. are all in walking distance and luckily it is only 3 km away from the city centre of Herford.

The first 3 weeks were pretty hectic, as we had to buy lots of stuff and do lots of things in the house. Well, mostly was done by painters, my handy hubby and our good friends. Within 4 weeks we could sit back and relax as it was 95% finished, bravo! Meanwhile we were also busy inviting people to have BBQ in our big garden, which is also completely done, thanks to my beloved mother-in-law who loves gardening and has spent many hours making it look really nice!

Now we have never ending space in the house and our little prince has a nice big bedroom as well as a cozy playroom.

We plan to make a house-warming party in July, as our birthdays are in June and July. We reckon it will be quite a big party and we look forward to it!!!
